KLAY is a typeface rooted in the tactile, playful nature of ceramic craft. It embodies a balance between organic imperfection and minimalist structure, where every letter feels hand-shaped and intentionally unique.
While the typeface maintains a sense of uniformity in its overall rhythm and proportions, each letter carries its own quirky twist—like clay molded by hand, no two forms are exactly the same. These subtle variations add a playful and tactile dimension to the design, making KLAY feel alive, expressive, and distinctly handmade.
The concept behind KLAY is a celebration of the creative process itself: the moment where form and feeling meet, where asymmetry becomes beauty, and where the human touch is never polished away. It’s a font that doesn’t strive for perfection—it embraces the charm of the imperfect.
